Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention
David directs the activities of the Secretariat and facilitates communications between the Co-Chairs, EXCOM, task forces, and advisory groups. Previously, David held a variety of leadership positions in the nation’s suicide prevention movement, including the Air Force’s pioneer suicide prevention program (1996-1999) and the development of the 2001 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
Linda Langford — Evaluation and Health Communications Scientist
Eileen Sexton – Director of Communications
Eileen oversees the Action Alliance’s media relations, branding, website, newsletters, social media, and other communications efforts. Eileen has an extensive background in public relations, health communications, and marketing. She previously served as Vice President of Communications for both Mental Health America and Special Olympics, Inc. Early in her career, she spent a decade working in the Olympic Movement for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and the U.S. Water Polo Team. Eileen is a graduate of Ball State University with a double major in journalism and community health.
